Welcome to Guilty Crow Tarot!
My admiration for tarot began at 16 when I stumbled upon a Victorian-style deck in a Vermont store during a family outing. I was instantly captivated and insisted that my boyfriend (now my fortunate husband) return me to the store and purchase the deck for me. This marked the start of a profound connection with both the cards and my husband.
I read on and off for years and then when I turned 29 I had a little nervous breakdown. I was a perfectionist never feeling like I or my life was enough. I had to keep pushing myself to hit goals I was never going to achieve in the time frames I was placing on myself. And then I broke. I was stuck.
I had the worst time getting through my every day because I could not get the thoughts to stop running in my exhausted brain. I couldn't focus on anything, I was ready to not be here anymore. I had two little kids and a full time job in the medical field. I also had the best and most supportive husband in the whole world. And thank God for the three of them because without them I might not be here anymore. I needed help. And that is when I turned to my cards to help me focus on what I needed to do to get out of this rut that I was in. Every day I would pull two cards asking the questions what do I need to do today to get me out of this and what message does my higher self want me to know today.
I slowly crawled out of the hole that I was in, day by day, message after message. So I get frustrated when I hear people say that tarot is evil or it is demons or the devil. I think a tool is just a tool and can be used for whatever the person who wields the tools intends. A knife can kill, or a surgeon can use it to save a life. These cards can you you the hope to get through another day. Today I have a beautiful life and I am grateful everyday that I experienced what it fells like to hit rock bottom. I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Attacks. I feel strongly that anxiety is calling you to a more spiritual life. To connect with your higher self. And while you don't need a set of cards to do this, I personally love the deep insights and how the cards can spark you to think in different ways. To spark inner awareness. To become unstuck.
While I think knowing what is coming up in the future is important, I really feel like the cards are a way to spark your intuition. To dig deeper inside and spark the questions of who you really are and why do you do what you do. How we can change for the highest good. How we can be of assistance to others which can only enhance our own lives. I love how they can show you why your relationships aren't working to what job offer would be better at that moment. I love how they helped guide me to healing to a life of positivity and happiness.
While I have conducted in-person card readings for quite some time, I also offer readings via Zoom for clients outside my immediate area. I am currently enrolled in Mediumship School at Amy Utsman's Whole Medium Academy, which has been an exceptional experience. I am also a student of Joseph Shiel's Mediumship class which is amazing. I also obtained certification as a Sound Healer and am exploring innovative ways to merge this practice with card readings.
Previously, I mentored Colette Baron-Reid's Personal Mastery Oracle Class, guiding individuals to discover their paths using Colette's Wisdom of the Oracle cards. The community was remarkable, and I also hold certification as an oracle reader from her Shared Wisdom class. Additionally, I am a certified Soul Coaching Oracle reader under Denise Linn. I also have my Elemental Space Clearing certification and am planning on starting space clearing homes with my son Michael.
I have pursued other various psychic and mediumship courses to complement my tarot readings. Despite a medium suggesting that I don't require cards for readings, I appreciate the unique perspective they offer clients. I value both my intuition and that of my clients equally. I have studied life coaching to enhance my readings and to help women make the best choices in life.
I have an insatiable appetite for learning and constantly seek to enhance my skills. There are certainly worse addictions to have...
Tarot serves as a solution-oriented tool, particularly beneficial for anxiety sufferers prone to dwelling on problems rather than solutions. A reading allows us to step back, take a breath, and reassess our perspectives on a situation.
I appreciate how tarot alerts us to potential wrong turns, unexpected events, and provides insight on how to navigate challenges. It empowers us to adapt our responses accordingly.
Tarot truly is a valuable companion for those grappling with anxiety, aiding in stress reduction which, in turn, bolsters the immune system. Who knew that tarot could contribute to overall well-being!
In the near future, I will be launching a new Tarot Practice Circle. In my opinion, the most effective way to master card reading is by practicing on others. Having a mentor to provide guidance is crucial, and I personally wish I had one during my journey. I had numerous questions, and it took me some time to navigate and find my path.
I aspire to incorporate more mediumship into my readings and potentially offer standalone mediumship sessions as my expertise grows.
I am excited to introduce new services as inspiration strikes.
And, as always, I am committed to expanding my knowledge by enrolling in courses and devouring books to evolve as a more proficient tarot reader each day.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. If you think we are a good fit, I look forward to working with you!
